Install Appendix A
This Appendix covers IIS Installation. Before you install IIS on your target PC, you must make sure that it meets Microsoft’s minimum requirements for IIS. To install IIS on your machine, open the Start menu and search for Turn Windows Features on or off. Scroll down the list of Roles and locate and select Internet Information Services. You will now need to select the following roles (but don’t deselect any other roles that may already be selected):

Expand the Management Tools branch and check that the roles listed below have been installed. Select any that haven’t been included.
- IIS Management Console
- IIS Management Scripts and Tools
- Management Service
